The exercise wheel
My father had an exercise wheel that I never really knew what it was for. It turns out it was for abs and they are still available today. You are supposed to kneel down and push the wheel forwards. I found it too easy when I started. I now crouch on my feet and wheel my body forward so that the end position is like a close grip press up with the wheel under my chest. I then wheel back so I am crouching on my feet again. I then go forward and so on. One rep of this is a real challenge. I kept going and now do 33 reps when I do shoulders. This has helped build great core strength and I now really enjoy the exercise - partly because they are so difficult and partly because they are really good at shaping the upper body. And yes they make your abs stronger too!
